The K-18 Cafe is a friendly diner type restaurant located next to the Lucas airport (38K). I flew from Omaha to Lucas airport with a group of three other private planes with the intention of enjoying lunch and seeing the Garden if Eden sculpture exhibit. This destination did not disappoint. The delicious home cooked roast beef and mashed potatoes were satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back and try their famous chicken next time. If you like the review please click thumbs up on each photo and on the review.

Hometown cooking at it's best. Had the combo burger basket, cottage cheese and tea all for under $10.00. I will be back!

Nice, clean, friendly place to eat. Food is great & staff is very pleasant & keeps your drinks filled up.

If you are from there the service is great, but for the strangers that come off the beaten path, just wait they will get to you eventually, I was going to buy my husband a pie to take home to him, but I got tired of waiting, as you may know I am not from around there, and I will think twice about going back. Wilson will see me.

This establishment has the best Hot Beefs around the Russell area and the best deserts. I highly recommend stopping in and trying something. Great staff and awesome food.

Worst experience ever. Waited an hour for hamburger n fries and when it finally did come out the fries were burnt and the burger was over cooked ...horrible horrible experience

Great place for a quick food stop. We ordered breakfast at noon. The place was busy, but the staff took care of us quickly. If you are lucky enough to get Nina as your server, get friendly attitude will make your day.

Stopped Sunday, ordered two Roast Beef Sandy along with two pieces of Home Baked Cherry Pie.Bread was from a Home Baked Loaf. The beef was a Chuck Roast. Always an enjoyment going and enjoying K-18 CAFE IN LUCAS KANSAS.

Burger was flavorless, the cheese was rubbery. Fries came out soggy and cold. The tea tasted sour and they somehow managed to have spoiled blue cheese dressing. Dreadful flavor. Definitely the most disgusting meal i have ever paid for. But the service was very nice.

Just good home cooking, but get there early if you want pie for dessert

This is one of my family's annual traditions. We go to Osborne, KS to visit Family graves and we stop here for a meal before heading back home. I grew up eating here. The building may change its looks and staffing looks different. However the food is still the same. My family always gets the chicken fried steaks whenever we get there. Its is literally the best. Dont just take my word for it, go try it yourself!

Yummy yummy won't go away hungry

I really liked the feel of this place, was like being in a diner. The service was great, everyone super friendly. All of the food coming out looked good, my issue is with the hamburger. I went in expecting a great burger, but it had to be a frozen patty. It had that weird texture/consistency and flavor (or lack of flavor)of a frozen patty. So disappointed. French fries were good and they give you plenty of them.

Our waitress was very nice and the prices are hard to beat it's quite tasty and has a very welcoming environment
